Sneaker Ball planned for February 10

The Wood Activity Center will once again be set up for an enchanting evening on February 10, as the Clinton Therapeutic Recreation Department hosts its annual Sweetheart Formal.

This year, the dance will have a “Sneaker Ball” theme, offering attendees the unique opportunity to showcase their most cherished or stylish sneakers, paired with their finest cocktail attire.

The festivities begin as early as 4:30 p.m., with a touch of glamour being offered at the Olde Towne Depot, at 281 East Leake Street, where the Glam Shop will offer attendees a chance to add a sprinkle of sparkle to their night with hair and makeup services.

Limousine rides, sponsored by Tinnin Construction Company, will be available from the Depot starting at 5:45 p.m., with the last pickup scheduled for 6:30 p.m. This service gives participants the opportunity to arrive at the dance and walk the red carpet in style. There will be a photo booth at the dance to capture memories of the night, as well as lots of food to enjoy.

The event, which has a goal creating a warm and inclusive atmosphere where everyone can come together to celebrate love, friendship, and the beauty of diversity, is open to participants in the Abilities Program, along with their cherished family and friends.

Reservations are requested for the event. For more information and to discuss reservations, call 601-924-6387.
