Yarn Bomb Workshop planned for Feb. 24

The Clinton Courier

Main Street Clinton will host a Yarn Bomb Workshop to teach people of all ages and levels of knitting how to knit.

Set for Saturday, February 24, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., the workshop will help interested individuals learn how to knit and to create pieces for the yarn bomb project that Main Street Clinton has each year in preparation for the Caterpillar Parade in April.

The workshop, which will be held at the Olde Towne Depot at 281 East Leake Street, is free and open to anyone. Those who have their own knitting needles and yarn are welcome to bring them, and needles and yarn will be provided, as well.

For more information, call Main Street Clinton at 601-924-5472.

Main Street Clinton volunteers place some of the 2023 Yarn Bomb Project pieces around the Olde Towne area last year, in preparation for the annual Caterpillar Parade. The Parade this year will take place on April 13.
