Tractor Supply to open local Petsense store

     A store devoted to pets is coming to Clinton soon.  Petsense by Tractor Supply is expected to open in mid-November at 1009 Hampstead Boulevard.  Tractor Supply’s existing store at 464 Springridge Road will continue operating at that location.

     According to the company’s website, “Petsense by Tractor Supply is a pet specialty retailer focused on meeting the needs of pet owners, primarily in small and mid-size communities. We specialize in providing a large assortment of pet food, supplies and services, such as grooming and training, and offering customers a tailored experience while providing the top-quality products they need at a price they love. We are also committed to promoting responsible pet ownership through pet adoptions, community involvement and education.”

     The wholly-owned subsidiary of Tractor Supply Company was founded in 2005 and now operates 205 Petsense stores in twenty-three states, including locations in Brandon and Vicksburg.  The Clinton store is expected to create between five and ten jobs.
