Clinton Park pumpkin contest winners announced
Clinton Park Elementary School, the Clinton Public School District’s kindergarten and first grade school, recently held their annual Character Pumpkin Decorating Contest. Each class chose their favorite book, drew a picture of their character, wrote a brief description of their book and decorated their pumpkin to look like a character from the book.

Kindergarten Winners
The 1st place kindergarten winner was Mrs. Bridgforth’s class, for the book Creepy Carrots.
The 2nd place kindergarten winner was Mrs. Jackson’s class, for the book Five Little Monkeys.
The 3rd place kindergarten winner was Mrs. Rodgers’ class, for the book The Wizard of Oz.
First Grade Winners
The 1st place first-grade winner was Mrs. Adams’ class, for the book Scaredy Cat, Splat.
The 2nd place first-grade winner was Mrs. Oswalt’s class, for the book The Bad Seed.
The 3rd place first-grade winner was Mrs. Smith’s class, for the book The The Smart Cookie.
