Clinton Park Elementary School, the Clinton Public School District’s kindergarten and first-grade school, recently held a Boosterthon Fun Run. Students and teachers participated in a fun run, which included flying like an airplane, a bunny hop, a slow motion run, dancing, and doing the robot. Parents were invited to join the fun and cheered for the students from the sidelines.
The Boosterthon Fun Run, Clinton Park’s annual fundraiser, was the students’ reward for meeting their goal to raise $25,000 for their school. At the end of the run, Clinton Park’s principal, Mrs. Kelli Pope, and assistant principal, Mrs. Summer Rigney, agreed to be sprayed with silly string in celebration of meeting their fundraising goal.
