CCA Names Dixion As Athletics Director & Edwards To Athletic, Academic Positions

Clinton Christian Academy (CCA) recently announced the appointment of Reinaldo Dixon as the school’s new athletic director.

School officials say Dixon brings both leadership experience and a passion for student-athlete development to his new role. Dixon says he is eager to begin his tenure at CCA as athletic director and is focused on building a strong, competitive, and character-driven program.

“I am excited to develop an athletic program that not only builds winning teams but also shapes student-athletes into leaders on and off the field, “ said Dixon.

With a background in coaching, sports management and youth development, Dixon says he plans to expand athletic opportunities, support coaches and promote a culture of excellence across all sports. His vision includes enhancing facilities, fostering school spirit and increasing community engagement.

“I am thrilled to add Coach Dixon to our leadership team,” said Head of School Tyanne McCoy. “His enthusiasm, experience and commitment to our students and community make him a perfect fit as CCA’s athletic director. I am very excited about the direction of our athletic programs under his leadership.”

Clinton Christian Academy also announced that Shane Edwards will be joining the school as a history teacher, football defensive coordinator, and track coach. School officials say that Edwards brings passion and years of experience to the classroom, as well as leadership on and off the athletic fields, and they are excited to see the impact he will make both academically and athletically.
