Biloxi Casinos Continue To Pay Big Jackpots In 2025

Casinos in the Biloxi area have paid out five jackpots of $100,000 or more in July alone, contributing to 13 such jackpots paid in South Mississippi casinos this year. The total prize money paid out to jackpot winners has been approximately $4m.

Jackpots have been paid from slots and table games, with the highest before August being more than $400,000. However, on August 1, one lucky player was the first of the year to bag a million-dollar jackpot, taking $1,283,085.59 from the Panda Magic slot machine at the Beau Rivage Resort.

Mississippi Gambling

Gambling in various forms is legal in Mississippi, including at licensed casinos and tribal casinos. Online casinos have not yet been regulated, but players in the state can access offshore and VPN friendly sites.

According to online gambling analyst Charlie Pearson, these sites enable players to enjoy their favourite casino games from anywhere in the world without geographic restrictions. They also offer some of the most generous bonuses and the widest range of games.

For Mississippians who prefer to gamble in person, there are plenty of outlets. There are currently around two dozen casinos located in Mississippi, including on the water and the coastline. Approximately a dozen of these are located in the Biloxi area, including the Golden Nugget Biloxi Hotel Casino, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Biloxi, and the Beau Rivage Resort & Casino.

Lucky Mississippi

And, for superstitious players who believe certain areas bring more luck than others, Biloxi and the wider South Mississippi area in general represent good opportunities. So far this year, 14 jackpots of more than $100,000 or more have been won in South Mississippi, totalling around $4m.

Five jackpots have been won in the Biloxi area alone, with two coming from the same casino – Harrah’s. The most recent Harrah’s win, which was collected on July 19, was a $100,000 jackpot, won by a player on the Double Top Dollar slot machine.

Double Top Dollar

Double Top Dollar is a five-reel machine with 9 paylines. It has a minimum bet of $0.01 per spin and a maximum bet of $10. Its RTP of 95.11% is generous for a physical slot machine, although that kind of RTP would only be considered average for an online game.

The Golden Nugget

The biggest of this year’s pre-August jackpots was a $402,411 win at the Golden Nugget Casino Biloxi. A player named Santigo S. had been playing for just over an hour and won the jackpot on a side bet playing the 21 + 3 Blackjack Progressive game.

Triple Double Stars Slot Machine

When it comes to the luckiest machine, the Triple Double Stars slot machines at the Beau Rivage Resort and Casino in Biloxi top the list. A player from Birmingham, Alabama, won $300,000 on February 15, which came not long after a $200,000 jackpot in January. And on February 12, a $150,000 jackpot was paid out on the machine from a single 1-credit bet.

Other Harrah’s Winners

Harrah’s Gulf Coast has also seen its share of winners, albeit not as many as at the Beau Rivage. As well as the recent $100,000 jackpot on the Double Top Dollar slot, a lucky winner called Jayne collected $211,961 while playing a DJ Poker game. In DJ poker games, deuces and jokers are wild, and the player aims to make a better five-card hand than the dealer can muster up.

Pai Gow Poker Winner

Another variant of poker, albeit a relatively lesser-known one, is Pai Gow poker. Pai Gow poker combines elements of poker with the traditional Chinese domino game, Pai Gow.

Players are dealt seven cards and must make two hands – a five-card high hand as well as a two-card low hand. Players’ hands are then compared to the dealer’s hands. If both hands are higher than the dealer’s, the player wins; if neither hand is higher, the player loses, and the bet is pushed if the player wins one hand and loses the other.

One player, Patricia P., collected an impressive $392,638 playing Pai Gow poker at the Scarlet Pearl Casino in D’Iberville. She landed a 7-card straight flush to grab the sizeable jackpot.

Progressive Blackjack

Typically, blackjack isn’t known for its higher payouts. Typically, a standard payout is 1:1, with blackjacks paying 3:2. Taking table limits into account, it’s unusual for any player to walk away with more than a few hundred dollars.

Jeffrey, from Florida, bucked this trend, however, when playing Light & Wonder’s Blazing 7s blackjack table at the IP Casino Biloxi. In this game, bettors can place side bets on the number of 7s that will be dealt in the player’s first three cards.

Jeffrey placed a $10 standard bet with a $1 side bet, which landed him a $233,519 jackpot. Another player picked up $144,563 playing the same game at the Scarlet Pearl Casino.

Two Jackpots In A Matter Of Minutes

If winning one jackpot isn’t lucky enough, one player picked up two jackpots within minutes of one another. The player was betting at the Hard Rock Casino in Biloxi on March 21. They won $100,000, quickly followed by a $50,000 jackpot, on the Triple Triple Bonus video poker game.

Another Video Poker Winner

Another video poker machine also gave up a $100,000 prize at the Hard Rock Casino in Biloxi. This time, the player from Kentucky bet $125 per spin on Game King’s Triple Double Bonus Poker and took the prize on March 6.

2025’s Biggest Jackpot

All of these wins pale in comparison to one jackpot paid out on August 1 at the Beau Rivage. The bettor, who opted not to be named, played for just over 20 minutes, staking $50 on the Panda Magic machine and collecting more than $1.2m. The machine, from Aristocrat Gaming, is an Asian-themed game, increasingly popular across the entire gaming market, with retriggers and sizeable bonuses. Other features include hold and spin as well as free games, but the progressive jackpot came in clutch this time around. All of these wins pale in comparison to one jackpot paid out on August 1 at the Beau Rivage. Conclusion

South Mississippi has dozens of casinos, as well as a host of other entertainment spots and dining venues, and players have enjoyed more than their share of luck in the state. Most recently, one player celebrated the start of August with a progressive jackpot win of more than $1.2m, bringing the total jackpots won in South Mississippi casinos in 2025 to around $4m, with several of these winners coming from the Biloxi area alone.
