Spirit of Christmas Tour judging begins Dec. 8

Now in its fifteenth year, The Clinton Courier’s Spirit of Christmas Tour is accepting nominations for homes and businesses who are celebrating the season with festive or well-lit holiday displays.

Every year, the Tour grows to reach a new record of the number of homes, businesses and subdivisions who participate. Citizens can nominate themselves and their own house or business, but residents can also nominate their neighbors or other places that they think other people would enjoy seeing during the holiday time.

This year, the Courier is partnering with the City of Clinton to offer an interactive map to make viewing all the lights of Clinton even easier.

Once all Tour participants are identified, viewers who wish to use the interactive feature will be able to navigate to a designated page on the City of Clinton’s website that will provide the option to follow directions to each of the neighborhoods/houses on the tour using directions provided by Google Maps.

Nominations can be made through noon on December 8 by emailing Office@TheClintonCourier.net or by calling 601-990-9511. All decorations should be in place and lit by the time judging begins on December 8.

Judging will be completed between December 8-12. The December 16, 2025, edition of The Clinton Courier will include the addresses of homes and businesses that make the tour, and each participant in the tour will be acknowledged with a yard sign.
