Looking ahead to 2026 at Quisenberry Library

We had a great turnout for our Christmas Tree Gala, and we look forward to even more community organizations participating next year! Email the library if you’d like to be added to our reminder list.

After starting the year with a magical morning of Pancakes and Pajamas on January 3 for kids and their adults, we’re continuing our newer programs and rolling out some more:

• Makers Circle for adults and teens – Wednesdays at 5.
• LEGO Club for third grade and up – Mondays at 4 and certain Saturdays.
• Our growing Adult Book Club meets once a month – January’s pick is The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah, and we will meet on January 17.

In February, join us for Gal-entine’s Day on February 14 for teens and adults, featuring cozy crafts, movies and snacks.
Don’t forget – our Friends of the Library Book Sale happens on the first full weekend of each month (except January and July). Books are just $5 a bag!
Mark your calendar for our 3rd Puzzlepalooza on March 7 – we can’t wait for another fun competition, and we are excited to continue this at other times throughout the year.
And looking ahead… Summer Reading begins June 1! This year’s theme is “Unearth a Story,” and we will be focusing on dinosaurs, archaeology, history and discovery.

Ongoing programs:
• Adult Bingo every other Thursday at 11 a.m.
• Storytime every Tuesday at 11 a.m. – come experience the magic of stories!

And, as always, Quisenberry Library offers services for the whole community, including printing and copying, faxing, meeting spaces, and – of course – books and DVDs.
If you don’t already have your Jackson Hinds Library System card, today is the perfect day to stop by and get one!
