Veteran’s Banner Program accepts new applications
Special to The Clinton Courier
The City of Clinton is again offering residents the ability to apply for the Veteran’s Banner Program. Participants of this program will have their banners displayed each year on all patriotic holidays, transforming the Clinton Parkway and Highway 80 into a reminder of the people who make Clinton such a special place to live. Each banner is printed on heavy duty vinyl and are twenty-four inches wide by fifty-four inches tall. Printed on both sides, every banner will feature the veteran’s photograph in uniform along with their name, rank, years of service and era served. New banners will require a payment of $225 by cash or check made payable to the City of Clinton.
There is limited availability and the program only accepts veterans that call Clinton home. Applications must be turned in before February 23, 2026. For additional information regarding this program or to obtain an application form, please call 601-924-2221, email visitorcenter@clintonms.org or visit in person at the Clinton Visitor Center located at 1300 Pinehaven Road. Completed applications will need to be submitted along with payment and a high-resolution photo in a JEPEG file, and all new banners will make their debut Memorial Day 2026.
