Red Rose Award presented to Ferguson of Clinton

Beta Chapter, Delta Kappa Gamma, presented the Red Rose Award to Barbie Ferguson at a recent meeting. Ferguson (left) was presented the award by Cynthia Goodman (right) of Beta Chapter.

The Delta Kappa Gamma Society promotes professional and personal growth of women educators and excellence in education.

Each year, the Red Rose Award may be given to recognize a non-member who benefits education in her community.

Ferguson serves as Deputy Director of the Mississippi Professional Educators Association, for which she oversees strategic programs and member services that empower Mississippi educators.
