BRILLA JUNIORS BRING HOME MEDALS

The Brilla Combine 2014 Boys team recently competed in the BFC Spring Kickoff, earning second-place honors and bringing home tournament medals after a strong weekend of competition. The team delivered an impressive performance throughout the event, highlighted by a dominant 6-1 victory over Rankin SC and a 2-0 shutout win against Pearl FC. Their only loss came in a closely contested championship match against the eventual tournament winner, with the game tied at halftime before slipping away late.
Coach Davis praised the team’s performance, saying, “These boys competed hard all weekend, played some great soccer, and showed what it means to represent Brilla the right way with grit, teamwork, and nonstop effort. Proud of the growth, proud of the fight, and excited for what’s ahead for this group.”
The tournament showcased the team’s continued development, determination, and strong chemistry on the field, as the players demonstrated disciplie, resilience, and a commitment to improvement in each match. Their runner-up finish reflects both their competitive spirit and the progress the group continues to make this season.
