Introducing the Clinton Prayer Council
We are pleased to introduce the Clinton Prayer Council (CPC), a new organization formed with a heart for our city and a commitment to prayer.
The Clinton Prayer Council exists to unite believers in consistent, intentional prayer for the City of Clinton — its leaders, citizens, institutions, and future. We seek God’s guidance, peace, justice, and unity as we stand in the gap for our community and lift up those who live, lead, work, and serve here.
Our vision is a spiritually grounded Clinton where prayer informs leadership, strengthens families, heals divisions, and fosters a community marked by unity, compassion, and collective responsibility under God’s direction. We believe prayer is not only powerful, but essential in shaping the present and future of our city.
CPC is not a church or a political organization, but a council of believers from across Clinton who share a desire to pray intentionally for our community. We welcome individuals, churches, and leaders who feel called to join us in seeking God on behalf of Clinton.
As part of our efforts, we plan to gather at Clinton City Hall on select evenings throughout the year for times of focused, intentional prayer for our city and its leadership. These gatherings will be open to those who wish to participate and stand together in prayer for Clinton.
As we move forward, we look forward to sharing opportunities for prayer, collaboration, and community engagement. Our hope is simple: that through prayer, Clinton will continue to grow as a city marked by unity, peace, and faith.
Our first gathering is Tuesday, April 7 at 5:30 p.m. Please follow our Facebook page ‘Clinton Prayer Council’ for more information.
