CCA archery team plans for state championship
Special to The Clinton Courier

Clinton Christian Academy’s (CCA) archery team is headed to the MAIS archery state championship on April 8 at Park Place Academy. The team has remained undefeated in the fourteen archery meets they have had this season with other schools, including Jackson Academy, St. Andrews, Central Hinds and others.

CCA archery consists of fifty-two archers ranging from fourth grade to twelfth grade.

CCA has earned archery state championships in 2022, 2023 and 2025.

“Being undefeated isn’t just about talent,” said Assistant Athletic Director Page Pope. “It’s about discipline, trust and a team that holds each other to a higher standard.”
