Winter guards, percussion bring home first place wins
Clinton High School’s JV Winter Guard, Varsity Winter Guard, and Clinton Indoor Percussion groups all recently placed first in their respective classifications at the Mississippi Indoor Association Neshoba Central High School Competition. The Varsity Winter Guard swept their classification, receiving first place in all categories, including first place design, movement, equipment and general effect.
Clinton Indoor Percussion is directed by Ryan Bays, along with Steven Ross, Walker Staten and Brandon Pratt. The Guards are directed by Haley Bays, along with Kali Pratt, Ashley Wigant and Macy Greco.
Each group will continue to compete at various local competitions leading up to State Championships, which will be held in Oxford, Mississippi, at the beginning of April.
