The Clinton Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the appointment of Nate Jarnagin as its new Executive Director, effective June 15.
A longtime Clinton resident since 1988, Jarnagin brings extensive professional, military, and community leadership experience to the role. Prior to accepting this position, he served for 13 years at Mississippi Christian University, where he developed strong relationships throughout the Clinton business community and surrounding areas.
Throughout his career, Jarnagin has worked closely with businesses, organizations, and community leaders, gaining valuable insight into the opportunities and challenges facing local employers and entrepreneurs. His diverse background and commitment to service make him well-positioned to lead the Chamber as it continues to support economic growth and business development in Clinton.

In addition to his professional and military accomplishments, Jarnagin has been actively involved in the Clinton community. He served as Scoutmaster for Clinton’s Troop 12, which is chartered by First Baptist Church Clinton, helping guide and mentor young people through the Scouting program.
“I am honored to have the opportunity to serve as Executive Director of the Clinton Chamber of Commerce,” said Jarnagin. “Clinton has been my home for nearly four decades, and I look forward to working alongside our businesses, community leaders, and residents. My focus will be on identifying ways the Chamber can better serve and support the businesses that make Clinton such a vibrant community.”
The Clinton Chamber of Commerce is excited to welcome Jarnagin into this leadership role and looks forward to his efforts to strengthen connections among businesses, promote economic opportunity, and enhance the Chamber’s value to its members and the community.
