Three bands on tap for Fall Concert Series

Just in time to catch the cooler temps of autumn, Main Street Clinton’s Lions Club Park Concert Series is back in action.

The park welcomes a trio of free concerts this fall that will make the most of the season’s pleasant evenings. Clintonians are encouraged to make plans now to catch all three. Food and beverage trucks on hand make these nights out extra easy and fun for concertgoers.

Concerts start at 6:30 p.m. Attendees should bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating and enjoy a night out with friends and family, tunes and stars.

On Saturday, September 19, the series will offer the chance to catch back up with Faze4, a pop band with Jackson roots and a song list that skips brightly through the decades — ‘60s into the ‘90s.

“Faze4 has performed here before and is always a hit,” Main Street Clinton Assistant Director Ashley Hammack said. Copeland’s BBQ will be on site, for those who want to grab dinner at the concert. The Big Sip beverage truck will be there to quench any thirst.

On Saturday, October 10, Cross Country Duo of Brandon takes the stage. Copeland’s BBQ and The Big Sip will again be on hand again to take care of refreshment needs.

The series wraps up with Lariat, a Philadelphia-based band with a sound rooted in country and driven by rock, on Saturday, November 14. The band’s spring date at Lions Club Park was rained out, but “We are excited for the public to be able to see them now!” Hammack said. The Big Sip is scheduled to handle beverage needs for the concert, but no food truck is designated at the moment.

Lions Club Park is located at 200 East Leake Street in Olde Towne Clinton.
