This year, we marked ten years in business with a celebratory round of Lavallee T-shirts and our biggest annual company crawfish boil to date.
In the decade since Paul Lavallee began Lavallee Electrical and Generators with a single truck and a part-time helper, we’ve grown to a team of twenty-four with commercial, residential and generator divisions.
Our work is grounded in providing excellent craftsmanship, trustworthy service and respect for the people we work with and the community we serve.
These qualities first shaped Paul back when he was a wiry kid determined to play bass trombone in a major orchestra. Excellence, consistency and respect for the craft guided his training as a classical musician and then his choice to go into the trades, continue playing music on the side and remain in Clinton to build his life and family.
After seven years in the electrical trade and a couple of years as the third-year electrical instructor at Mississippi Construction Education Foundation (now Build Mississippi), he founded Lavallee Electrical and Generators on the simple conviction that anything worth doing is worth doing very well.
That idea shaped everything we’ve built since, from our team culture and quality of work to how we train and treat the people we work with and serve.
Over the years, we’ve built a team of people who are committed to developing themselves as both individuals and electrical professionals. In the last four years, we’ve brought our training in-house and now regularly bring in top electrical instructors and experts from around the country for code, specialized skills and journeyman training.
As part of our ongoing commitment to investing in our culture and providing the highest quality service to our clients, our generator team is Kohler-certified. We’re also a Kohler Generator dealer, a Tesla installer, and lighting controls Lutron Pro.
We start with great people as the foundation and build the skills, knowledge and preparation to provide excellent work and service long before we show up on the job site.
We still hold that anything worth doing is worth doing very well. Doing it with great people is what makes it most worthwhile.
