“We’ve missed the playoffs for the past three years, and we want to break that next year,” said Williams.
“You guys need to start thinking about the playoffs today, and think about going to the playoffs every day, and talk about that goal of going to the playoffs. We have a lot of tradition here in Clinton and have support from the community. All of you have one thing in common in that all of you want to be successful in life. You need to be positive about our team in what you say do, and everybody needs to be positive when you are on social media.”
“We have 3 ‘C’s’ in life: we have choices, chances and changes,” said Williams. “You have to make the choice to take a chance to make a change in the way we do things. Then our choice is that we are going to keep our mouth shut and take our chances and to work harder, and that will translate to change for us on the field the coming season.”
