City of Clinton Announces Spring Citywide Cleanup for April 25–May 2, 2026
Clinton is preparing for its annual Spring Citywide Cleanup, scheduled for April 25 through May 2, 2026. Residents are encouraged to begin planning now to take part in this communitywide effort to keep Clinton clean, safe, and beautiful.
As the city looks ahead to spring, officials are also reflecting on the strong participation seen during the Fall Citywide Cleanup and Household Hazardous Waste Day. Community involvement played a key role in the success of that event. In a single day, residents helped collect 305 gallons of used oil, 2,500 gallons of paint, and more than 7,500 pounds of household hazardous waste. Crews also filled 37 disposal bins and removed approximately 1,110 cubic yards of debris from across the city.
These results represent more than just waste removed. They highlight a shared commitment among residents to protect Clinton’s neighborhoods, roadways, drainage systems, and natural environment. Proper disposal of hazardous materials like oils and paints helps prevent contamination, while large-scale debris removal improves safety, appearance, and overall quality of life.
The upcoming Spring Citywide Cleanup offers another opportunity for residents to clear out yard debris, unwanted household items, and general clutter following the winter months. Seasonal cleanups not only boost curb appeal but also support citywide beautification and public health efforts as Clinton moves into the warmer season.
Additional details regarding cleanup guidelines, eligible items, and pickup schedules will be announced soon. Residents are encouraged to stay connected through the City of Clinton’s website and official communication channels for updates.
By building on the momentum from the fall effort, city leaders are looking forward to another successful cleanup made possible through strong community participation.
