Living Young program offers online registration, adds required code of conduct

Special to The Clinton Courier

The Living Young program, which is offered by the Clinton Therapeutic Recreation Department for individuals ages fifty and over, now offers online registration for its programs. In addition, the program has implemented a new Code of Conduct that all current and new participants are required to review, sign and follow.

While the Code of Conduct form can be completed digitally, department officials say that participants are welcome to stop by the office at the Wood Activity Center to complete a paper copy if they prefer. All current program participants must submit an updated form by June 30 in order to continue participating in Living Young programs. Participants who do not have a completed form on file after that date will be unable to participate in programming until the form has been received.

Those who are interested in receiving the Living Young Quarterly newsletter can send an email with the subject “PAPERLESS” to CBroomfield@clintonms.org.
To receive senior program updates and reminders via text message, text @liveyoung 81010.

The Living Young programs consist of daily, weekly and monthly activities which help foster socialization and promote physical activity for individuals ages fifty and over, including activities such as painting workshops, dance and fitness classes, and social activities, as well as special and seasonal events.

The Wood Activity Center is located at 111 Clinton Boulevard.
