Almost eighty Clinton High School alumni representing classes from 1952 to 2020 gathered on Friday, September 11 for the Fall CHS Alumni Quarterly Luncheon. Fifteen alumni were counted as first-time attenders. Participation has been steadily growing since the initial luncheons in 2017.

Bob Turcotte (CHS ’52) anchored a group of seven alumni from the 1950s, while Josie Tripp (CHS ’20) was the most recent Arrow alum.

Also attending were Dr. Delene Lee and Dr. Jasper Lee (CHS ’59) from Athens, Georgia. Both served on the CHS faculty in the 1960s. Dr. Jasper Lee has authored numerous books, including local interest works Return to Tinnin (2017) and Tinnin: A Family History Novel (2023).

All class years are invited, and alumni are encouraged to mark their calendars to save the date of the next luncheon, which will be on Friday, March 5, 2027. Reminders will be published in the normal social media outlets. For questions or to confirm attendance, call or text Amylou Douglas at 601-954-4232.
