Keep Clinton Beautiful Earns National President’s Circle Recognition
Keep Clinton Beautiful has earned the 2026 President’s Circle Award from Keep America Beautiful, recognizing the organization’s commitment to keeping Clinton clean, green and beautiful.
The recognition is awarded to affiliates of Keep America Beautiful, a national nonprofit organization dedicated to improving and beautifying communities across the United States. To achieve President’s Circle status, affiliates must meet annual reporting requirements and maintain compliance with the organization’s certification standards.
Keep Clinton Beautiful earned the recognition based on its accomplishments during the previous year, including its ongoing efforts to improve the appearance of the community through litter cleanup, beautification projects, flower planting and volunteer involvement.
Sarah Kountouris, executive director of Keep Mississippi Beautiful, congratulated the organization and its leadership on the achievement.

“We are so excited about meeting this accomplishment and sincerely appreciate the community and all of our partners and volunteers,” Michael said.
State Rep. Clay Mansell, who represents Clinton in the Mississippi House of Representatives, also praised the organization for its work and dedication to the community.
“Clinton is a special place, and organizations like Keep Clinton Beautiful help make it that way,” Mansell said. “Whether it’s picking up litter along our roadways, planting flowers or working on other projects around town, Shellie and her volunteers are making a real difference. I’m proud of the work they do and glad to see them receive this national recognition.”
As part of the recognition, Keep Clinton Beautiful will be honored at the annual Keep America Beautiful National Conference, scheduled for February 14-18, 2027, in Savannah, Georgia.
The organization is already on track to achieve President’s Circle status again for the 2027 reporting year.
Keep Clinton Beautiful continues to encourage residents, businesses and community organizations to take an active role in keeping Clinton clean and attractive. Through volunteer efforts and partnerships, the organization works to build community pride and preserve the beauty of Clinton for residents and visitors alike.
