Clinton Soccer off to a strong start

The Clinton Girls and Boys soccer programs have kicked off their 2019-2020 seasons with wins.

Coach Bobo has his Lady Arrows poised to take a district title, and Coach Wade looks to do the same with a young Arrows Soccer team.

Lady Arrows 6-0

The Lady Arrows are rolling with a 6-0 record after defeating a handful of strong Mississippi soccer programs over the past month.

Clinton defeated Northwest Rankin in dramatic fashion after finding themselves down by a goal against the Lady Cougars.

They answered this win with a 1-0 win over Tupelo and a 2-1 win over Lafayette High School, the defending 5A MHSAA State Champions.

Coach Bobo’s defense has held its own, giving up only 2 goals in six games.

Arrows sit at 4-1-1

Coach Tyler Wade’s young team has held its own in the first six games.

After opening the season with a 3-0 win over Starkville, the Arrows have only dropped one game.

A trip to Tupelo produced a 2-2 tie against the Golden Wave and a 3-1 win over New Albany.

Clinton travels to Brandon

The Clinton teams will travel to Brandon to face a central Mississippi rival.

The Lady Arrows will kick off at 5:30 PM with the Arrows kicking off at 7:00 PM.
