Mississippi College Athletics Place 55 on GSC Spring Academic Honor Roll
Mississippi College Athletics had 55 Student Athletes earn spots on the Gulf South Conference Spring Academic Honor Roll. The Choctaws and Lady Choctaws also placed seven student-athletes selected to the GSC All-Academic Teams.
The baseball team led the way with 23 student-athletes being named to the honor roll, while Grant Barber and George Farid were voted to the All-Academic Team. Barber was also selected to the All-Academic Team in 2018.
The softball team put 14 student-athletes on the honor roll with Hannah Creel and Shayla McKissock being selected to the All-Academic Team. This was McKissock’s second time being named to the All-Academic Team, earning the honor in 2019.
The women’s tennis team saw Paulina Cota and Aneta Golawska named to the All-Academic Teams, while Brady McDaniel was honored on the men’s side. The two tennis teams combined for 13 student-athletes on the honor roll, while the golf team had five on the list.
Following the spring announcement, Mississippi College had 198 total student-athletes named to the GSC Academic Honor Roll with 23 grabbing spots on the All-Academic Teams.
