Lady Arrows and Arrows Advance To The 6A North State Championship

Clinton, Mississippi – The Clinton Arrow soccer teams advance to the 6A North State Soccer Championship with two commanding wins in the second round of the MHSAA Soccer Playoffs.

The Arrows Men’s Soccer Team traveled to Madison County to defeat Germantown High School (Madison, MS) with a score of 4-1 in their second-round playoff game. The Arrows scored twice in both halves to seal their victory and a spot in the 6A North State Title Game.

The Lady Arrows also took care of business by defeating Oxford High School (Oxford, MS) 4-0 at home. Jada Jelks, Tailynn Remmel, Zoie Zumbro, and Jakiya Michael all scored to help lead the Lady Arrows to victory.

Both soccer teams are scheduled to compete against friendly foes Madison Central High School (Madison, MS) at home on Tuesday, February 2nd for a chance to stamp their spot in the 6A State Title Game. The girls are scheduled to kick off at 5:00 pm with the boy’s team to follow at 7:00 pm.
