BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — The Mississippi College men’s indoor track and field team claimed the 2021 Gulf South Conference Indoor Championships as 22 grabbed All-GSC honors, including two setting GSC Indoor Championship records.

Evan del Rio set the conference indoor record in the mile as he posted a time of 4:10.52 while grabbing first team all-conference laurels. Gabe Poulin set the record in the 5,000 meters with a time of 14:36.04 and received first team accolades.

Daviciea McCartneyRakeem Wilson and Will Grames added to the hardware pile for the Choctaws. McCartney was named the Most Outstanding Overall Performer while Wilson grabbed Most Outstanding Track Performer and Grames was named Most Outstanding Freshman.
