Clinton Arrows sign to play football at next level

Jordyn Battee recently signed a letter of intent to play football at Hinds Community College. The QB was named to the Region 2-6A All Region Team his senior season and was named as the 2022 Comeback Player of the Year. Battee is also a member of the Clinton High School MHSAA 6A State Championship Track and Field team. Jordyn Battee is the son of Kristen Battee and Rico Robinson.

Jacquavyian Carter recently signed a letter of intent to play football at East Central Community College. The three-year linebacker was named to the Region 6A second team his junior year. Jacquavyian Carter is the son of Shunkellius Patton.

Running back Jakobe Calvin recently signed a letter of intent to play football at Hinds Community College. A four year-starter, Calvin was selected as first team All-State and second team All-Gridiron. Jakobe Calvin is the son of Tamela Calvin.

Christian Washington recently signed a letter of intent to play football at Copiah Lincoln Community College. The defensive end made the most of his junior and senior seasons as a member of the Arrows’ defense. Washington is also a member of the back-to-back Clinton MHSAA 6A State Championship Basketball team as well as the National Honor Society and Anchor Club. Christian Washington is the son of Latranio Kennell.

Kenneth Andrews recently signed a letter of intent to play football at Copiah Lincoln Community College. The defensive lineman led the D-Line in tackles and blocked field goals. Andrews is also a member of the Clinton High School MHSAA 6A State Championship Track and Field team. Kenneth Andrews is the son of Rose and Rodney Brown-Joiner.

Cameron Williams recently signed a letter of intent to play football at Hinds Community College. A four-year starter, Williams was selected to participate in the 2023 Mississippi/Alabama All Star Game. Cameron Williams is the son of Alix and Charles Williams.
