The City of Clinton expects to save about $60,000 with a new landscaping and grounds maintenance contract for various parks, City buildings and roadways. The Board of Aldermen on March 7 approved a $237,601 professional services agreement with Rotolo Consultants, Inc. The company, based in Slidell, Louisiana, was already doing landscaping and grounds maintenance at Traceway Park.
Under the new agreement, Rotolo will provide groundskeeping services at locations including City Hall, the City Annex and the other parks. The company will also be responsible for maintaining landscaping along several roads.
“They would update for seasonal color, putting new plants in there and maintaining it,” says Director of Parks and Recreation Courtney Nunn.
Rotolo has a dozen offices in five states, including one in Jackson.
