Cruzin’ Clinton car show open for entrants

Registration has opened for the 2023 Cruzin’ Clinton Car Show, set for Saturday, September 16.

Main Street Clinton, who hosts the show, is offering three ways to register for this year’s event: online, by mailing a downloadable and printable form, or by registering on-site the day of the event.

The annual event features vintage and classic cars parading through the streets of Clinton and parking for the show, which is located in historic Olde Towne. The car show is accompanied by music and food, and over thirty awards are given to the show’s favorites. The show is open to all years, makes and models of cars.

Pre-registration Is $20 per car, and both the online and printable forms are available on the Main Street Clinton website at MainStreetClintonMS.com. Pre-registration closes on Friday, September 8.

Onsite registration and check-in will be held on September 16 from 8 until 9 a.m. at the Clinton Plaza parking lot at 200 Clinton Boulevard. The event will begin at 9 a.m. with the popular car parade from the Clinton Plaza Shopping Center through town, followed by the show in Olde Towne on Jefferson Street from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Onsite registration is $25 per vehicle.

There will be no admission fee for the public to view the cars, and there will be music and food for attendees to enjoy, as well. More than twenty awards will be given in numerous categories.
