Trey Alexander named 2024 “Mr. Basketball”

Trey Alexander of Clinton was among the recently announced 2024 class of Mississippi’s “Mr. Basketball” award winners.

The 2024 class of Mississippi’s “Mr. Basketball” award winners, presented by C Spire, has been announced by the Mississippi High School Activities Association (MHSAA) and Mississippi Association of Coaches (MAC), and Trey Alexander, a senior at Clinton High School, has been named the 7A “Mr. Basketball.”

Chosen by a state-wide committee of coaches and media members, each student-athlete represents his respective MHSAA classification (1A-7A).

All Mr. Basketball winners were recognized during the 2024 MHSAA Basketball State Championships in the Mississippi Coliseum. Recipients were also honored at a special awards luncheon on March 5, which was live streamed on the NFHS Network.
