Eight CHS soccer players earn all-star honors

The Clinton High School soccer programs have eight players who have earned all-star honors.

 

The Lady Arrows placed three players on the women’s Central roster for the inaugural Central vs. Coast Mississippi All-Star Showcase. Goalkeeper Ellyn Burchfield, defender Taylor Robinson and midfielder Elise Thomas were selected for the event, which is scheduled for Wednesday, February 25, at William Carey University in Hattiesburg. From the men’s team, Jackson Carter and Parker Cole were named to the men’s Central team for the Central vs. Coast Mississippi All-Star Showcase.

 

Freshman Alex Holmes and Ja’Milah Williams also earned postseason recognition, being selected to compete in the Central Mississippi All-Star Game, also set for February 25, at Southwest Mississippi Community College in Summit. On the men’s side, freshman Colton Cox was chosen to compete in the All-Star game, as well.
