Organizers report that there was much excitement throughout the day as students learned who they were paired with for the next round. Students completed six rounds, with all players participating in each round. As students awaited results for each grade, they shared what they enjoyed about the day. A variety of answers were given, including hanging out with the high school students, saying checkmate, and meeting new people.
