Children’s Business Fair open for registration

Children ages 6 to 14 can register to participate in this year’s Children’s Business Fair, set for May 9.
Smart kids and great ideas come together for the Main Street Clinton Children’s Business Fair each year in Clinton, and registration is now open to get plans on the books for the 2026 edition.
The fair is 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 9, on Jefferson Street, alongside the Main Street Clinton May Maker’s Market.
It’s a chance for young entrepreneurs to put their ideas into action and nurture their business savvy, with an average of fifteen to twenty kids participating each year, Main Street Clinton Program Director Tara Lytal said.
“It’s added a lot. We’ve even had a couple of those students come in and do a booth at other markets,” she said, with the vendor fee offered to the students at a reduced rate for encouragement.
Kids ages 6 to 14 are eligible to apply for the 5th Annual Main Street Children’s Business Fair. They develop a brand, create a product or service, build a marketing strategy and open for customers at the one-day marketplace.
Space is limited to twenty booths, so Lytal encourages interested youngsters to apply early to secure a spot. To apply to participate, visit ChildrensBusinessFair.org.
“It’s a great opportunity to dabble in business,” Lytal said.
The Children’s Business Fair is sponsored by Acton Academy, the Acton School of Business and donor and volunteer support.
