Arrow baseball holds awards banquet

The Clinton Arrow baseball team was honored at the annual banquet following the season.

Head Coach Sam Temple thanked players, parents and coaches.

“Thanks to our players for their hard work and family sacrifices and our support from the booster club,” said Temple. “And thanks to our administration.”

The Diamond girls were also recognized for their help during the season.

Awards were then presented by Temple and the assistant coaches.

Junior high (eighth-grade) awards presented by Coach Temple included: Offensive Award to Brody Cox and Ayden Johnson, and the Arrow Award to Harrison Cooley.

Ninth-grade awards presented by Coaches Smith and Porter included: Offensive Award to Brenley Blair, Defensive Award to Colton Cox, Pitching Awards to Ben Brunson and Willian Howell, and the Arrow Award to Logan Moore.

Varsity awards presented by the varsity coaching staff included: Rising Arrow Awards to Jordan Mathis and Evan Thornhill, Most Valuable Player Awards to Stone Crain and Ethan Dodson, Offensive Award to Brayden Johnson, Defensive Awards to Chad Bates and Wes Warren, Pitching Awards to Brady Holmes and Gage Temple and the Arrow Award to Ryan Saxton.

All-Region 2-7A First Team awards presented by Coach Temple included Stone Crain, Ethan Dodson and Brady Holmes; and Second Team awardees were Chad Bates, Brayden Johnson,Gage Temple. and Wes Warren.

Seniors (Class of 2026) were recognized individually, and the senior player video was shown. Senior players included Chad Bates, Stone Crain, Ethan Dodson, Brayden Johnson, Drew McGahey, London McKenzie, Ryan Saxton, David Steelman and Dylan Steelman.
