Quisenberry Library offering free trees for kids ahead of Earth Day
Special to The Clinton Courier

The Quisenberry Library is inviting families to celebrate Earth Week by signing up their children to receive a free tree, part of a growing national partnership with Neighborhood Forest. Parents and guardians have until March 15 to register. Registration is available online at NeighborhoodForest.org/registration-services/?school=157286.
The free tree program provides children with a young tree to plant at home, encouraging environmental awareness and hands on learning. Trees distributed through Neighborhood Forest arrive in time for Earth Day each year, and the library will notify families when their trees are ready for pickup, around April 22.
Neighborhood Forest partners with schools, youth groups and libraries nationwide, offering communities a simple way to celebrate Earth Day through stewardship and planting. Many libraries across the U.S. participate annually.
Quisenberry Library staff said they look forward to seeing local families take part in this year’s program.
