Washington earns rodeo awards

Nicholis Washington Jr., a student at Clinton Park Elementary, is making a name for himself in the rodeo world.

Washington recently earned second place for Best Kid Rider and competed in the Mutton Bustin’ competition at the 16th Annual Black Rodeo in Philadelphia.

Washington is the son of Lakayla Coleman and Capt. Nicholis Washington Sr. of the Clinton Fire Department.
