Clinton’s Brick Street Players presents A Night of One Acts

Special to The Clinton Courier

Clinton’s Brick Street Players is collaborating with Clinton Arrow Theatre to usher in the Christmas season with A Night of One Acts. First, Brick Street Players brings O. Henry’s classic story of “The Gift of the Magi” (adapted by Jon Jory) to life. After that, Clinton High School’s Arrow Theatre will perform Jamie Gorski’s “Yes Virginia, there is a Santa Claus.” Between the family-friendly one act plays will be a special “WINTERMISSION,” which will be a time for the audience to enjoy Christmas caroling, hot chocolate and other festive treats.

“The Gift of the Magi” (Jory) is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals on behalf of Playscripts. “Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus” is presented by special arrangement with Playscripts, Inc.

Performances will take place November 12 to 14 at 7 p.m. and November 15 at 2:30 p.m. at the Entergy Theatre at Mississippi Christian University. Tickets are available at clintonbrickstreetplayers.ludus.com and are $20 general admission or $15 senior/military/student. Season passes are also available.
