The Clinton Arrow baseball team looks to be peaking at just the right time.  The Arrows now 19-6, have won 12 of their last 13 games and won their  district finishing 9-0 in the region.
By winning the district, the Arrows get a bye this weekend in the opening round of the playoffs and will host either South Panola or Southaven in the second round of the playoffs that start April 27th in the best of three series.
On Good Friday the Arrows defeated both local Class 6 A baseball power Northwest Rankin and defending Class 6A state champion Madison Central.
Clinton also swept district rival Warren Central  with 3 wins for the district title.
The Arrows are trying to get back to the state championship game for the first time since 1997 and win their first state title since 1990.
