MLS Look to Snatch Up More Premier League Players

The MLS are known for taking ex-Premier League big names and revitalising their careers in some cases, for example the likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Wayne Rooney, who became one of the best strikers that LA Galaxy and DC United have ever seen. But who is next to leave the premier league for a chance in a growing league? You can predict yourself, with sports betting at Americasino

Already in the last couple of weeks we have seen a major surprise, which will certainly be exciting for LA Galaxy fans, as they welcome Javier Hernandez (Chicharito), the ex-Manchester United and West Ham United player. The Mexican international is excited for his new challenge, but also very emotional about leaving European football. It will be interesting to see whether he can fill Zlatan’s boots and even possibly surpass the amazing record that the Sweden star holds.

Is this going to be the only big-name` arrival in America or is there more to come. Here are the rumours…

Mesut Ozil

This is possibly the biggest shock rumour of them all. Mesut Ozil, who is currently at Arsenal, is rumoured to be holding talks with DC United, the team that Wayne Rooney used to play for before making his move to Derby County.

Representatives of DC United have already held talks with the midfielder over a possible transfer. What a signing this would be, Ozil is a world class striker, who shows no signs of dipping in form anytime soon, his career is certainly not coming to an end yet. He could really light up the MLS.

Nemanja Matic

Chicago Fire have shown their interest in the Man United midfielder Nemanja Matic, who has not had it easy recently at the Premier League giants. The whole Manchester United squad as a whole are underperforming, but one star that is really getting a hard time is Matic. He is being seen as not a regular starter for the club, with the likes of Pogba, Fred and McTominay being chosen ahead of him. This could certainly lead to his exit.

The only positive for Matic is that due to injuries, he is getting quite a bit of game time at the minute and is really embracing it with some good performances. Could this possibly hinder his decision. Or will we see him feature in the MLS next season.

James Chester

James Chester is currently contracted with Aston Villa, but lack of game time has seen him looking for a move elsewhere, with the MLS being one of his possibilities. The centre back is believed to be interested in a move to America and will listen to clubs who want his signature.

A transfer away is almost imminent. James has only played 2 games for the club this season and both of those appearances were in the cup, which means he has not played at all in the league, something he will not be happy with. Villa themselves are happy to let him leave the club but have expressed how he will not go on the cheap. There is no rush for Chester to leave just yet, with the new MLS season not starting until the end of February.
