CPD arrests suspect in theft of police car
Clinton Police have arrested Daler Singh of Clinton in connection to the November 25 theft of an unmarked CPD vehicle from a local apartment complex.
Singh is known to Clinton Police for multiple calls related to mental illness issues. Singh was arrested at the Byram Walgreens on Wednesday evening in possession of the stolen vehicle. Singh was charged with auto theft.
Bond was set by the Clinton Municipal judge at $200,000. CPD and Clinton Municipal Court are working to get Mr. Singh the necessary mental health assistance.
