Arianna Durrell signs with Meridian women’s basketball

Arianna Durrell, a senior at Clinton High School, recently signed a letter of intent to play basketball at Meridian Community College. Durrell, a guard, has played an integral part over the past four years, helping the Lady Arrows reach the 2020 6A MHSAA State Championship. She is a former Little Six Champion and was selected to the All-Region team as well as named MVP at the Girls Rock Tournament. Durrell is also a member of the championship-winning Lady Arrows Track and Field team. As a member of the 4×800 relay team, she helped set a school record and played a part in winning two MHSAA State Track and Field Championships. She’s a member of Mu Alpha Theta, National Honor Society and Student Council. She was selected as a CHS Homecoming Princess and was recently named Miss CHS as a senior. She is the daughter of Wendy and Elmer Durrell.
