The Clinton Arrows and Lady Arrows Soccer teams received four player selections and two coach selections to the Mississippi Association of Coaches’ Randy West All-Star Games on Saturday, February 17, at Ridgeland High School.

For the Lady Arrows, seniors McKenzie Price and Cooper Holmes were selected to play for the Girls’ North Team. Price is a defender who has anchored the back line of a Lady Arrows defense that, as of mid-November, has only allowed two goals this season and has earned four clean sheets in six games. Holmes is a part of the Lady Arrows’ midfield that led the Lady Arrows to scoring seventeen goals in six games while owning time of possession.

For the Arrows, seniors Cody Barnett and Brady Torrence have been selected to play for the Boys’ North Team. Barnett and Torrence anchor the Arrows’ back line that averaged allowing less than a goal per game through the first seven games of the season. Barnett and Torrence also flip the field for an Arrows’ attack that, as of mid-November, had scored an astounding thirty-one goals in the first seven games of the season for an average of 4.4 goals per game.

Arrows’ Head Coach Tyler Wade was selected as the head coach of the Boys’ North Team. He will be assisted by Arrows’ Assistant Coach Cory Jierski.
