From Struggles to Momentum – Where the 2025-26 Arrows Stand After Early Season

There’s nothing more exciting than improving your skills and winning. That’s also very important for GGBet betting online, and Clinton Arrows showed everyone that it’s possible to make a comeback.

The Arrows’ start of the season wasn’t too great, as they had a string of losses. However, if there’s something that the players know, it’s that they must keep going. Determined to succeed, the group seized several victories, proving that they have the skills to become champions.

A Bad Start to the Season

Starting the season with multiple losses in a row is something no team wants to go through. Unfortunately, the Clinton Arrows experienced this. In fact, they lost four consecutive games.

The Arrows first went against Terry on November 4, 2025. The game ended 51-45 in favor of Terry. Then, it was time to face Ridgeland. Unfortunately, this also ended badly for the Arrows, as their opponents won with a final score of 50-44.

This was nothing new, though. When Clinton and Ridgeland played in November 2024, the latter won that time, too. Ridgeland’s victory came thanks to Ashton Manuel, who had 17 points and 4 steals, and Braelyn Bailey, who scored 8 points and had 6 rebounds and 4 steals.

On November 11, Clinton faced Lanier. The latter won with a 68-58 final score. Another loss was against Canton, a game that ended with a 63-45 score.

Now, many teams would lose hope after all these bad results. Clinton Arrows didn’t, and it was obvious in the next games.

Turning Losses into Success

Clinton wasn’t going to back down despite the few losses they’ve suffered. When they faced Forest Hill and Brandon Bulldogs later in November 2025, they took their power back.

First, the group took over in their game against Forest Hill, seizing the victory with a score of 66-40.

Then, at Arrow Gym in Clinton, the team won against the Brandon Bulldogs with a 54-47 score. It became clear that the victory in their previous match wasn’t just pure luck – Clinton was prepared and did everything right, which is how they bounced back.

In the game with the Brandon Bulldogs, Clinton had a great second half. They also timed their shots perfectly. According to Joshua Luckett, the coach of the Clinton team, the group’s strength of schedule is what allowed them to be victorious when playing against the Bulldogs.

“We started the season out pretty slow, but we played some tough opponents, especially the first three,” he said. “Some of the better competition in the state. And we played pretty decent in those games, but we had a lot of turnovers. But these two wins in a row, we’ve been playing some better basketball.”

How the Game Against Brandon Unfolded

During the first quarter of the game, Clinton was a bit slow, starting with 14-7. However, in the second quarter, they were already better. The game was tied at the 3:40 mark by London McKenzie’s 3-pointer, which brought the match to 17-17. Then, Arrows took the lead thanks to Jaden Moody and his free-throw line jumper.

In the third quarter, Brandon opened with five points and took the lead again, bringing the score to 22-19. Clinton wasn’t about to give up, though. Once again, they took control of the game and went into the final frame with a 37-31 lead. Luckett said that Moody and McKenzie were the ones who brought the team to such a great score.

“We did get (Jaden) back up and running,” he said. “I believe that helped us a whole lot with him coming in, contributing, handling the basketball, and kind of taking the pressure off the younger point guards.”

He also said that the team is trying to find more chemistry. According to Luckett, London McKenzie has been up and down when it comes to his performance. McKenzie is an “energy guy”, and he was the one who pushed the team closer to victory. The other players then upped their game.

In the last eight minutes of the game, Clinton was in control of the flows and ebbs. Their score lead didn’t go below six. Because they were doing so well on both sides of the floor, the Clinton Arrows seized the victory, proceeding to the next match. Luckett admitted that despite the slow start, the second half allowed them to get downhill and then work their way towards success.

Another Loss Followed by a Win

While Clinton came back successfully after their loss streak, they’re still a team with ups and downs, as proven by their next games after Brandon.

On November 21, 2025, Clinton went against Raymond. Unfortunately, this time they did not have the success they did in the previous match. Raymond won with a 61-48 final score. This is revenge for the time Arrows won against them with a 71-59 score in December 2024. While Raymond’s record ended up 6-0, Clinton’s record dropped to 2-5.

But after Raymond, Clinton had to play against Edwards. The game took place on November 24, and the Arrows got their desired victory.

This time, it was Clinton who took their revenge. The last time they played, the Arrows lost, with the final score being 62-61. Now, Clinton succeeded with a 45-43 score. The scores being so close each time puts supporters on edge, as the outcome is always a surprise.

Moving on, Clinton will have to face even more opponents, and there’s no time to rest. The last two games, which were against Pearl on November 25 and Northwest Rankin on December 2, ended with losses for the Arrows.

The upcoming games are against Leake Central, Warren Central, and Raymond. December is packed for Clinton, and how these games will end is unknown. However, given the Arrows’ tendency to return after big losses, it’s clear that we can expect some pleasant surprises from them.
