Plans begin for library’s annual Christmas Tree Gala

Flyer for the Quisenberry Library Annual Christmas Tree Gala showing three decorated Christmas trees under a starry night sky, with tree setup November 21 through December 3 and the Christmas Open House December 5The Quisenberry Library Annual Christmas Tree Gala is fast approaching, and the library is requesting the help of the community to help make this year’s event its most magical yet.

Local businesses, organizations, churches, clubs and community groups are invited to sponsor and decorate a Christmas tree in the library. Trees should be set up by December 3 in preparation for the library’s Christmas Open House on December 5.

The highest number of trees the library has ever had on display was 51, and library officials say that they would love to surpass that record this year. They imagine the library transformed into a festive wonderland filled with beautifully decorated trees representing the creativity and spirit of the Clinton community.

For organizations who would like to participate, library officials say now is the perfect time to start planning. Tree setup will begin November 21 and continue through December 3.

For more information or to sign up to sponsor/decorate a tree, call the library at 601-924-5684, or email Quisenberry@JHLibrary.org. The library is located at 605 East Northside Drive.
